Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026 · Version: 1.0

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled on the AFTR website at www.aftr.pt (the "Website"). It covers only this public Website. The AFTR product applications (the backoffice and the owner application) are not yet publicly available; when they launch they will have their own, separate privacy notice.

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the "GDPR") and applicable Portuguese data protection law.

1. Who we are

The Website is operated by the AFTR team ("AFTR", "we", "us"), based in Portugal. AFTR is building an after-sales and warranty-management platform for real estate developers; the company is in the process of being formed. For anything relating to this Policy or your personal data, contact us at work.aftr@gmail.com. For the purposes of this Website, we are the controller of the personal data described below.

2. What data we collect, and why

This Website is intentionally minimal. It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and it does not create user accounts. The personal data you choose to give us is:

Cloudflare processes your IP address to host and secure the Website, on the basis of our legitimate interest.

We do not collect any special categories of data, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We use two service providers to run the Website and handle your enquiry, each acting as a processor on our behalf under their own agreements:

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.

4. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer relies on an appropriate safeguard under Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You may ask us for details at the contact address above.

5. How long we keep it

We keep demo-request and email correspondence only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and then delete it, unless we need to keep it to comply with the law or to defend a legal claim. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).

6. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at work.aftr@gmail.com. We may ask for information to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Exercising your rights is free.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority, in Portugal the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), or the authority in your country of residence.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS). No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond to incidents promptly.

8. Children

The Website is intended for professional and adult users and is not directed at children.

9. Cookies

This Website does not use cookies or tracking. It stores your language choice in the browser so the next visit opens in the same language. See our Cookie Policy.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy, in particular once the AFTR company is formed and the product applications launch, at which point a fuller privacy notice will apply to those services. We will post the updated version.

11. Contact

For any question about this Policy or your personal data, contact us at work.aftr@gmail.com.
